In June 2001, Susan Dippel noted:
I've just spent some time in northern NSW and found the grave of Caroline Dreis and her husband James Little (my g-g-grandparents) in the cemetery at Emmaville. Caroline is Balthasar Dreis' 2nd daughter, the troublesome one who was christened Helena and was born just after Balthasar and Barbara arrived from Germany. Some of the older people in the town recognised the Mahood name (two of Caroline's daughters married Mahood boys) but not the Little or Williams names.

Susan took photos of the grave, and also of Mahood graves, but adds:
I also visited Gordonvale cemetery (near Cairns) looking for the graves of Caroline/Nicholas's sisters Catherine (Brown, born in Germany) and Juliana (Leonard-Toogood, born after Caroline) but couldn't find them - they must be in unmarked plots.
